Following the weeks of her release Manikarnika, the actress has been embroiled in quite the tug-of-war for the director’s credit on the movie. Moreover, she has also accused Bollywood for not standing up to her cause and that of her film’s.
And, while controversies never end for this lady, a leading daily’s latest reports suggest that Kangana Ranaut will soon enact and direct her own life story!
According to a source close to the development as quoted by the daily, the film is currently being scripted by KV Vijayendra Prasad who had earlier penned Baahubali and its sequel, as also her recent period drama.
Moreover, Kangana too confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I’m emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am.”
However, the script is being penned on of the finest, someone whom even Kangana Ranaut just couldn’t say no to, “Around 12 weeks ago, he urged me to let him write a film based on my life. I was nervous and wary initially, but then, given his stature and the fact that I trust him implicitly, I gave Vijayendra sir the go ahead to the project.”
The Queen actress further states whether or not she will have her controversial episodes enacted as well, “How can I show my journey without people, I can’t be walking alone. But we will not be taking any names. The idea is to project me and my life with all its highs and lows.
