As per early estimates, the collections on the second day showed a solid growth of almost 130-140 % across India owing to the Republic Day holiday as compared to the first day. The collections were very good in the morning shows and picked up in the evening and night shows. The collections were simply superb as it broke record of Anand L Rai directed Tanu Weds Manu Returns (Rs 15.85 crores) to become the highest day earner for a women-oriented film. With the two days total, Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi has collected a very good Rs 26.75-27.75 crores at the box office.
