Is Anurag Kashyap Directing The Desi Version Of Quentin Tarantino’s Martial Art Film ‘Kill Bill’ ?

Anurag Kashyap is known for making hard-hitting drama and is said to have been inspired from the super-talented Quentin Tarantino’s style of film-making. Now, we hear that Anurag Kashyap will be paying tribute to his favorite director by remaking one of his best film on martial arts – Kill Bill.

Anurag Kashyap has come a long way in building his career in Bollywood right from the mystery thriller Last Train To Mahakali (1999) till directing the web-series drama Sacred Games and we are lucky to have witnessed his magic on silver screen. When quizzed who was his source of inspiration, the talented director quoted – Quentin Tarantino.

For our viewers, Quentin Tarantino is one of most best director Hollywood has produced. His films like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, The Inglorious Bastards and The Django Unchained etc have achieved cult status among the cine goers. Talking about Kill Bill starring Uma Thurman, Anurag Kashyap is all set to create a desi version of the martia arts drama. The film will be produced by Nikhil Dwivedi (producer of Veerey Di Wedding) and will be extensively shot in Sikkim, Bhutan and Japan. As of now, the lead actress has not been finalized.
