Here’s What Kangana Ranaut Has To Say On Asked If The Bollywood Hierarchy Is Dominated By Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Her!

Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are a few of the actresses who have managed to always leave a mark with their performances in their films!

Bollywood is seeing a very good time when it comes for its female artists. Their work is not only being recognised but appreciated as well. Actresses like Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are a few of them who have impressed the audience with her work.

When asked if they dominate the hierarchy in the industry, Kangana told DNA, “The kind of place Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan naturally inherited from their seniors like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan worked differently. Actually as far as the girls go, this is not something that can be looked upon so superficially. With women it has been different. What we have currently is definitely as good as it can get.”

She added that she doesn’t know about them being a part of the hierarchy. “In the ’80s and ’90s, we’ve had Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit-Nene, who enjoyed a certain spurt of superstardom. If you see, there were those small phases of stardom that they saw, it was very age oriented and focused only around that span of time,” said the actress.

Kangana also added that they have definitely made a better place for themselves. But she also think that they are not on par with their male counterparts. She said, “However, we do wield a certain amount of influence on the audience and that feels good.”

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is going to be seen in the film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. Directed by the actress herself, the film is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, this year.
