The 76th Golden Globe Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 6, 2019 and we have the best dressed for you.
The Golden Globes are the first award function in Hollywood every year. Being the first major red carpet show, this is where the celebs show off their red carpet style of the year. And like every year, they amazed us this year too.
Lady Gaga walked the red carpet in a stunning Maison Valentino periwinkle coloured dress and cape made of silk faille. The dress was specially designed for her by her Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, for the Golden Globes 2019. She also dyed her hair to match the outfit while the sleeves tumbled down into an enormous voluminous trail. Lady Gaga not only topped the best dressed list and has also been nominated for best actress in a motion picture – Star is Born opposite Bradly Cooper.
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski
The couple walked in together and was one of the sweetest couple to walk the red carpet at the Golden Globe 2019. The Mary Poppins Returns actress donned a silver lace dress by Alexander McQueen while her husband, John, complimented her in a dapper blue tuxedo.
The Rob Stark of Game of Thrones was nominated for best performance in a drama television series for his work on the Netflix hit Bodyguard, which first premiered in the UK in 2018 and if you have seen the series, you won’t be surprised to hear that he won the Golden Globe 2019. He looked every bit sexy in his black tuxedo and the only accessory this handsome needed to stun us were his gorgeous blue eyes.
She was not only the host for the evening but was also nominated for Best Actress for Killing Eve. For the red carpet, Sandra Oh wore a Versace white gown with an asymmetrical neckline and ruche detailing. We also loved the dress she wore as a host, a red plunging neckline gown with bright red lips.
The Good Place actress walked the Golden Globe 2019 red carpet in a strapless, coral Monique Lhuillier ballgown with floral embroidery. But what we can’t see is the jeans she wore under her dress for some extra warmth. Well, take a cue people!
She chose a nude, silver-beaded dress on the red carpet. And did you notice the mini handbag? Well, we recently told you it’s the upcoming trend!
Julia, the ageless beauty, wore a pantsuit, with skintight black pants and tan top with a train. This may not be the very best look of the night, but we love how chic, stylish and not to forget comfortable, it is.
Her custom Alberta Ferretti floor length dress featured pink sequins and was a gorgeous ensemble. The strapless silhouette hanged down her body effortlessly and accentuated her toned figure.
