Veteran actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu seem to be in trouble related to their lone property in Bombay which has led the couple to slap a legal notice against a builder. Read on…
Seems like not all is well with Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu as they have found themselves amidst harassment and conspiracies against their property in Mumbai. The couple have filed a Rs 200 crore legal suit against Sameer N. Bhojwani and have alleged “continuous harassment and a well-planned conspiracy to take over the only property” in Bombay.
The celebrity couple also quoted via their lawyer that “they fear for their lives.”
A disheartened Saira Banu was quoted saying, ”It is disheartening to go through such a tumultuous phase at this age. They property rightfully belongs to Yusuf Khan saheb (Dilip Kumar). We neither have the support nor the strength to go through this continuous harassment by Sameer Bhojwani, whose only focus seems to usurping our land.”
Having said that, the celebrity couple have already reached out to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for further help. She also added, “The CM sa’b has been repeatedly saying he will help us and after the builder comes out of jail, he would do the needful. But it is three months now since the builder is out and nothing has moved from the CM’s side. There is no reaction even from the PM’s side. We hope they do something soon.”
“If this is the fate a person like Yusuf saheb, awarded the Padma Vibhushan and who is synonymous with acting in India, and has to undergo all this, imagine the plight of a commoner. We are hoping and praying that PM sa’b and CM sa’b will do something on priority,” she concluded.
It is already known that Saira has had plans for building a museum in honor of Dilip Kumar at the No. 16 site which has always remained a disputed site.
Here is hoping that they find peace and justice soon.
