Has The #MeToo Movement Become A Mockery, Here’s Kate Sharma SHOCKING Revelation!

Bollywood has been facing the ongoing MeToo Movement with all the support it can garner, bringing about a gradual change for the betterment of the future of this industry. This movement got its kick-off following Tanushree Dutta’s fearless recounting of being sexually harassed by Nana Patekar. Many came out in the open with their own stories including Kate Sharma, who told her own Me Too incident against Subhash Ghai.

Model and actress Kate Sharma had filed a complaint against Subhash Ghai. She reiterated in her account of the story that Subhash Ghai had asked her to massage him and while she did it for a minute or two, she made an exit to the washroom after that wherein he followed her. She was then asked to meet him in his room to talk over something, it was then that he tried to grab her and forcefully kiss her.

Latest reports suggest that the actress has taken her case back, withdrawal of her notice definitely comes as a shock, this took place four days prior. In her statement of defense on taking back her case, she wrote in her notice to the DN Nagar police station, that she wants to relieve her family and mother from the tension of this case, as ever since she has filed the case, she and her family has been facing enough troubles.

In her statement to a leading daily, she stressed upon her mother’s well being, and how as none of her family members knew about the incident, they were pretty upset and disturbed when it came out in public. Moreover, she has also revealed that while police is definitely filing the FIRs, there’s no arrest or further action being taken. This definitely seems to her as a mockery of the whole #MeToo movement!

Meanwhile, Subhash Ghai, in his post, had stated, ”I am a great supporter of the Me Too movement and women empowerment but hope that those taking undue advantage of the movement do not end up diluting it for their own short time fame. I feel grief if someone is trying to harm my reputation. Anyway, my lawyers will take care of the matter.”

Well, we hope that justice is brought forth to the victims, it is the only way to a bigger change.
