Varun Dhawan is one of the talented and successful actors from the current lot of actors we have in Bollywood. The Dhawan boy is not just giving better performances with every film, he is even experimenting with different genres. The handsome actor is really excited about his upcoming release Badrinath Ki Dulhania. It is the second instalment to his 2014 hit film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. BKD stars Alia Bhatt and this will be their third film together.
The Dishoom actor enjoys a great fan following. His admirers are everywhere, a lot of on social media. However, the actor has several times found himself being trolled for a tweet or criticised for his opinion, song, or a movie trailer. So when Varun was asked how does he deal with the negativity and unnecessary trolling and criticism on the social media platform, he answers,
“I don’t care. I’m not being arrogant about this, but I just don’t care. I really don’t care about what they have to say. I would care to suppose like I met you all and suppose you told me something and I would think because I have a face to remember. I have a voice I can remember.”
He further adds,
“Social media is what yaar? It could be the same person from five different accounts and there are more than enough instances where you know that social media can be manipulated. Anything can trend at any time and I’m sure everyone knows this. So, can’t take it seriously at the end of the day. I mean my intent at my heart is clear that I am here to entertain people and put out good content. If I make a mistake or if I do a goof-up and people make fun of me then it’s they are getting happy and doing that then that is also entertainment in a way.”
Well, looks like Varun Dhawan doesn’t pay heed to all the bashing, abuses, and trolls about him on social media and that’s quite cool of him. He’s surely the coolest actor of the current generation and maybe that’s why he enjoys such vast fan following.
Coming back to his film Badrinath Ki Dulhania, it is directed by Shashank Khaitan and the makers have recreated 90s popular peppy number Tamma Tamma in it. The film is set to release on March 10.
