Like his good friend Salman Khan makes a mark in the EID time, Aamir Khan given 100 % success rate during the Christmas time starting from “Ghajni”, “Taare Zameen Par”, “3 Idiots”, “Dhoom 3”, “PK” and now “Dangal”. The film is growing from strength to strength and refuses to come down.
As per early trade estimates, the morning show occupancy on Wednesday of “Dangal” is good as compared to the Tuesday collections dipping only by another 5-10% show and showing an occupancy of around 40%. The wrestling drama is keeping its head high above the heel in places like Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and UP due to the tax-free status. Since the word of mouth is extremely positive, the single screen theaters have started performing with no demonetization effect. The business is supposed to escalate by evening and night shows which could end for collection below Rs 20 crores.
With five days collections standing at Rs 155.53 crores crores, the total six days collections should be good enough for “Dangal” to cross Rs 170 crores milestone. “Dangal” has already recovered its budget of Rs 75 crores ( Production Cost – Rs 60 crores + Printing & Advertising – Rs 15 crores)
