The latest horror thriller directed by Vikram Bhatt, “Raaz Reboot” is finding it difficult to get the acceptance from the audience. “Raaz Reboot” did not pick up on its first Tuesday after crashing on Monday which shows a troubling sign for its makers.
Poor reviews coupled with strong performance of “Pink” which is unstoppable at the box office is creating hindrance for “Raaz Reboot”. The previous film “Raaz 3” was a blockbuster when Emraan Hashmi’s time was going well but it is the acting that matters if one has to stay afloat in Bollywood. His last few films like “mr.X”, “Raja Natwarlal” and “Azhar” has been a major disappointment with each film not able to recovers it cost forget about making it “break-even”. “Raaz Reboot” continued to fall since Saturday as the film is not keeping the momentum. With collections to Rs 2.27 crores as on Tuesday, the total collections stand at Rs 22.97 crores which is below expectations.
Considering the budget is Rs 30 crores, ‘Raaz Reboot” is in a dicey situation. It has to do well on weekdays to recover its cost.
