Due to negative reviews surrounding the romantic comedy film “Beifkre”, the business escalated with minimal growth which is certainly not a good sign considering the budget of the film along with the brand name.
“Befikre” started off on a good note at the ticket window in the morning shows showing an averaged an occupancy of around 45-50% released in 2100 screens which is good. The business escalated in the evening and night shows especially in the multiplexes of Delhi NCR region, Bangalore and Mumbai bringing the first day collections to Rs 10.36 crores. The word-of-mouth is not average and that might hamper the collections going forward. The collections showed slight escalations on Saturday bringing the collections to 11.36 crores and scoring a total collections of Rs 21.96 crores.
Coming to the economics of “Befikre”, the budget is pretty expensive amounting to Rs 70 crores (Production Cost – Rs 55 + Printing & Advertising – Rs 15 crores). “Befikre” is getting released in 2100 screens in India and in 800 screens in the Overseas market.
