Things are not looking good for Emraan Hashmi it seems. His latest horror-adventure nosedived by more than 50% as compared to its first day which is alarming for its makers.
Two factors turned out to be issue for Vikram Bhatt directed “Raaz Reboot”. One was poor reviews it started receiving on its first day itself and second was a storm called “Pink” which is unstoppable. After a decent Rs 6.30 crores on its first day, “Raaz Reboot” dropped on the second day. By this time the first choice of audience turned out to be “Pink” which reduced the collection of “Raaz Reboot” earning Rs 5.49 crores. The business did not grow and remained even on Sunday bringing Rs 6.30 crores. Since the film is performing well in the single screens, it was expected to hold well on Monday but that did not happen as “Raaz Reboot” dropped further bringing a disappointing Rs 2.61 crores summing up the total to Rs 20.70 crores at the domestic level.
Considering the budget is Rs 30 crores, ‘Raaz Reboot” is in a dicey situation. It has to do well on weekdays to recover its cost.
