Mark Ruffalo Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
On February 8, Mark Ruffalo, renowned for his role as Hulk in the MCU's Avengers series, was honoured with a five-pointed terrazzo-and-brass star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Joined by his wife Sunrise Coigney and two of his children, Ruffalo expressed gratitude on social media, dedicating the star not only to himself but to all who've been part of his journey.
Reflecting on his Hollywood beginnings, Ruffalo shared a humorous anecdote from his 18-year-old self, determined to pursue acting.
Guest speakers including actor Tim McNeil, director David Fincher, and actress Jennifer Garner, who starred alongside Ruffalo in '13 Going on 30', lauded his character and talent.
In a heartwarming moment, Garner and Ruffalo recreated their iconic 'Thriller' dance from the film, capturing the essence of their enduring friendship.
Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan also graced the ceremony.
Ruffalo's star marks the 2,772nd addition to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a testament to his illustrious career.
Currently, Ruffalo awaits the release of 'Mickey 17', a sci-fi drama alongside Toni Collette and Robert Pattinson. He recently earned an Oscar nomination for 'Poor Things' and is set to reprise his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the She-Hulk series for Disney+.
