While the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero smashed all the records as it crossed the 100 million views in just 4 days of release in YouTube, the Sikh community felt hurt from on its scene.
The trailer of Zero launched on 2nd November, was welcomed with big heart by the audience all over the world. It immediately became the #1 trending on the YouTube Channel garnering positive reviews from the audience. However, one particular scene from the Aanand L Rai directed film was objected by the Sikh Community where Shah Rukh Khan seems to be wearing the Gatka Kirpan in an underwear. Delhi based BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa immediately asked the makers of Zero to remove the scene as it hurt the religious sentiments of the Sikh community. The makers of Zero replied that the dagger shown in the film is actually a “Katar” and is not related to “Kirpan” and further added “The team ‘Zero‘ clarifies that they have been careful not to hurt the feelings of community“.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa was happy with the response from the Zero team and tweeted his reply as below :-

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, Zero stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in key roles. The Aanand L Rai directorial is all set for a big release on 21st December 2018. Zero which will also be a special film as it will have the last appearance of legendary actress Sridevi on silver screen, after she died in February. Zero will also have Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Alia, Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, and R. Madhavan in special appearances.
