Well, who would’ve thought that while we’re all encouraging the suppressed victims of power abusers to come forward and share their story in the #MeToo movement. Here’s another Bollywood Veteran actor Asrani who has termed the movement as a publicity gimmick! Here’s his full statement:
When asked about the ongoing #MeToo movement, veteran actor Asrani who was present at an event, stated to ANI, “I support women, everyone should, but all this is mostly for publicity, part of film promotions and nothing else. Mere accusations mean nothing, don’t take this seriously.”
Wow! Now, that’s way more ahead of Kailash Kher trying to term it as meaningless, this is down-right insulting to all those suffering under the power abusers like Nana Patekar, Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl and more. But, according to Asrani, this is all just some major promotional spree taking place, with every other day someone participating in it!
When some people don’t have an inkling of what’s going on with the world around them, or about how generation’s changing around them from old to new. They shouldn’t give out their opinions so flippantly about an issue so grave as the Me Too movement.
