There were three significant Bollywood films which were released today in the past years – Govinda, ANil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla starrer Deewana Mastana, Akshay Kumar and Juhi Chawla starrer Mr and Mrs Khiladi and Sharman Joshi, Sohail Khan, Isha Kopikkar and Gul Panag starrer Hello were released. Deewana Mastana (1997)

10th September, 1997 was the day of David Dhawan and Juhi Chawla. Both of them had two big releases – Deewana Mastane and Mr and Mrs Khiladi. Deewana Mastana was a laugh riot from the beginning till the end. Brilliantly acted by Govinda and Anil Kapoor and adequately supported by Juhi Chawla, Johnny Lever and Anupam Kher, Deewana Mastana struck the bull’s eye at the box office.

While the focus of audience was on the Deewana Mastana, Mr and Mrs Khiladi also did well in tickling your funny bone. Fantastic acting by Akshay Kumar, Juhi Chawla, Kader Khan and Satish Kaushik with good music triggered the collections at the ticket window and the comedy film was in the safe hands for the producers.

Hello (2008)

Based on the famous novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat, Hello was directed by Atul Agnihotri. The movie did took a good opening at the box opening thanks to the promotion and presence of Salman Khan and makers did make good money. Unfortunately, weak script and poor performances led to a dismal collections for the longer term.
