The biopic Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor has been made on the life of the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.
One of the most awaited biopics of all time, Sanju is just a few days away from its release. The biopic made on the life of the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt stars Ranbir Kapoor as the lead. And the actor has been garnering praises from all over since the trailer and the posters of the film have come out.
But the same film, which has been liked by so many, has upset the activist Prithivi Mhaske. According to him, “the toilet leakage scene in the barrack of jail picturised in the movie gives a bad impression about the jails and jails authorities of the Indians”.
There is a scene in Sanju’s trailer which sees Ranbir inside a prison shouting for help when the toilet starts overflowing. Objecting the same scene, Mhaske has wrote a letter to CBFC saying, “As per the information available, the government and jail authorities are taking good care of all the barracks of the jails. We have never heard of any such incidents. This particular scene will make a bad impression about jails and jail authorities.”
He has also threatened to take a legal action against the film in case the board does not do anything in the matter. “If there is no action about the same by you then we are left with no option to approach honourable court to put stay on the release of the movie,” wrote Mhaske.
Talking about the film, Sanju is slated for a release on June 29, this year. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles.
