A lot has been said and talked about Sanju staring Ranbir Kapoor in and as Sanjay Dutt in the film which is directed the prolific director Rajkumar Hirani. Appreciations and a lot many rave reviews are flowing in from all around the world for Ranbir’s act in the trailer where his mannerisms have won several hearts. This comes as a no-brainer because we all know what range Kapoor has in him as an actor. In a recent group interview held for Race 3 which stars Salman Khan in the lead role, Khan was asked about what did he feel after seeing the trailer of the much awaited biopic. His answer definitely was interesting. Read on…
Khan said, “For ‘Sanju’, I was thinking why is somebody else playing this bit? The last 8-10 years. You cannot do justice to that. Sanju should have played the last bit.
Talking about Dutt’s career and comebacks, he added, Whenever Sanju wants to make a comeback, he will. It is all left to Sanjay Dutt, the day he thinks ‘I want to come back, he will be back.’ Even for the movie Sanju, I thought why did somebody else play his part. No one can do justice to that. The last bit of the film, Sanju only should have played it himself. The last portion of the last eight to ten years, Sanju only should have done it.”
“I have seen the trailer. Raju Hirani is a very sensible filmmaker, I am sure he has made a good film,” concluded Salman.
Well, that comes as a bit of surprise because it also looks like a kind of sly dig after all both the actor (Khan and Kapoor) have had a history. Hmmm!
‘Race 3’ releases on June 15 and also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem.
