Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer 102 Not Out has been released in the theatres today.
The comedy drama 102 Not Out has been released in the theatres today. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in lead roles and brings back their jodi after a long time. But the film has opened with a very slow start.
The film has got around 10-15% occupancy in the first few shows of its first day. The action film Avengers: Infinity War has been giving tough competition to 102 Not Out as it is attracting most of the audience in the big cities. The Hollywood flick has already managed to cross the Rs 150 mark just after eight days of release in the country. The film was released on the last Friday and it is has continued to dominate the box-office over other Bollywood film releases.
But this kind of opening was expected from 102 Not Out as it is not a typical commercial masala film. However, it is being expected that the film will show some growth by Monday. It has a got a similar opening as Rani Mukerji’s last release Hichki.
Another Hindi film released today is Rajkummar Rao starrer Omerta. The film had not created any buzz and it is reflecting in its opening day performance. The film faced a poor occupancy of around 0-5% in the first few days of the show. And any significant growth in the figures is unlikely.
