Urvashi Rautela and Karan Wahi starrer Hate Story 4 was released in the theaters yesterday!
The erotic thriller Hate Story 4 has been released in the theatres with Urvashi Rautela and Karan Wahi as the main leads. The film is the fourth installment of the franchise, Hate Story. Yesterday we informed you all that the film has opened up on an average note. And is not doing as good as Hate Story 3 did.
While Hate Story’s collections were Rs 2.07 crore, Hate Story 2 had earned around Rs 4.82 crore nett on day one, Hate Story 3 had collected Rs 8.54 crore. The goal for this one was to at least cross the opening day mark of the second part. And end the first day with a decent collection. But unfortunately that didn’t happen. Hate Story 4 ended its first day with a business of around Rs 3.25 crore. Still it is not a bad figure. The film did well in the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Mostly this genre of films experience a drop of around 10-15% on the second day. But since the film started low in the multiplexes of big cities on day one and managed to improve later in the day, it is expected that the film will do better on its second day.
Other Bollywood films that were released yesterday include 3 Storeys, Dil Juunglee and Note Pe Chot 8/11. While 3 Storeys managed to collect around Rs 35 lakhs, Dil Juunglee did a business of Rs 25 lakhs.
Talking about the film, Hate Story 4 has been directed by Vishal Pandya and has been produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film also stars Vivan Bhatena, Ihana Dhillon and Gulshan Grover.
