We loved the jodi of Akshay Kumar and John Abraham when they appeared together in the super-hit film Garam Masala and gave us non stop laughter. They way they crooned to the songs, flirted with girls and acted oh-so-naturally definitely became a hit among the youth. Also, the movie’s music was foot-tapping. Now, years have passed away but we haven’t seen the two dashing actors work together one more time post Garam Masala.
Seems like wait is soon going to end for all the Akshay-John fans and all thanks goes to Abraham for spilling the beans. The actor who is working right now on his next film Parmanu said in an recent interview about how he wishes to work with Kumar once more as he loves the person & coz they are very similar as people. He said, “I would love to do some fun films. Also, I love Akshay [Kumar] and enjoy working with him. In fact, I spoke to him the other day, and he said, ‘Let’s do something together’. We always have a burning desire to work together as we are very alike as human beings”.
Revealing some insights about the possibility of Garam Masala 2, the dishy actor said, “As for Garam Masala 2, Akshay and I have been talking about it and I think that’d be great and a lot of fun. The storyline can be that 10 years later, there are more than three air hostesses (laughs). It will be fun but you have to make those fun films with people you have fun with. Even films such as Desi Boyz (2011) and Dishoom (2016) can be made into sequels as they have great potential.”
Woah! Now that is some interesting scoop. We will love to see these two actors sizzle up the silver screen on more time. What say? Let us recall how they goofed up onscreen back then.
“Honestly speaking, it’s all been the blessing of my audience and I have always said that. My godfather is my audience. For someone who has nobody in the industry, people are his godfather. I think my fans have loved me a lot and held me close; and it’s all thanks to them that I am here. So, I am grateful to my well-wishers. They are the most fantastic people in my life,” concluded Abraham.
Parmanu which also stars Diana Penty releases on 6th April, 2018.
