If anyone ever asks me what’s beautiful to me, I shall take your name, Deepika Padukone. It has been a long journey, it will be a great one ahead as well, but this long journey has given you so much depth, that we have all fallen for you a little more than ever before. Deepika, you’re the definition of beauty, beauty for me comprises of many facets that you have earned and excelled in, in the whole of these past years.
From the very start of your journey in Om Shanti Om, I thought of you as someone who was simply very innocent and graceful and I think I liked you more than anyone because you were acting opposite SRK. I truly fell in love with you after your beautiful role play in Love Aaj Kal and then Cocktail. I connected to the emotions played by Veronica and yet I found something very similar to Naina from Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani. But the closest to me was Piku, I was simply in awe of your portrayal of the character and your own charisma on-screen. You became more than just a face, more than just a star for me that day, YOU became REAL to me.
I had never felt more personified as I was with Piku. You almost brought me to tears of pride when you came out in the public’ eye about your depression. It was scary, I was scared for you, worried as well, but moreover, I was proud. That day not only did you make every woman, celebrity proud of how real and absolutely raw you came out to be; but you also made humanity proud of how you have braved your scars and wounds to be who you are today, to be the beautiful you, today. You earned everyone’s respect that day.
You became ethereal to me, when I saw you in Ram-Leela and Bajirao-Mastani, it may have been Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magic that made you look simply mystical and exotic to the eyes, but there was something much more elegant on you that had shone out itself. From being the naive, innocence to being the lady with scars and wounds yet so beautiful and gorgeous, that’s how long your journey has been Deepika.
It is an admirable feat and proves just how strong and dedicated you are. Believe me when I say this, YOU inspire me to be like you, Deepika Padukone.
Thank you for being you!
We all wish you a very happy, happy birthday and a much more beautiful journey ahead.
From Your Loyal,
