This week’s releases at the Box Office might have got mixed reactions from the public and harsh criticism from the varied critics, but its has definitely got a fixed and final judgement from their collections at the Box Office.
Starting with periodic comedy-drama, Firangi, Kapil Sharma’s debut production had a low weekend with 6.30 crore nett apprx. While, there had been reasonable growth on Sunday but that might be because Saturday had been pretty flat.
Although, the movie is content based with an actual story with a different approach, so content films like Firangi should always be looking at a 100% from Friday to Sunday, also looking at the present working of the box office, but here it is only an amount recording to 40% of the whole.
Though Firangi has considerably done much better in East Punjab and Delhi NCR, the collections are rather low. Looking at this performance in the weekend itself, it seems that Firangi has been tagged as a one week runner. Here’s the first weekend business of Firangi, as follows:
Friday – 1,80,00,000
Saturday – 2,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday – 2,50,00,000 apprx
Concluding with a Total of 6,30,00,000 apprx.
Well, after Firangi, the second film that has released is Arbaaz Khan and Sunny Leone starrer, Tera Intezaar. Tera Intezaar did very dull at the box office although with an only plus being that at least its weekend figures weren’t refrained within lakhs.
Well, judgement has it that this kind of films are only for simple passe then long dead. The weekend business of Tera Intezaar is as follows:
Friday – 40,00,000 apprx
Saturday – 45,00,000 apprx
Sunday – 50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL – 1,35,00,000 apprx
