Not only are ‘we’ the Sheerios, stanning over this Lannister soldier but so is our very own sweet, heartthrob idol, Ed Sheeran stanning and fanning all over his own cameo that appeared in the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones.
Well really it wasn’t much of a secret but what did make the whole cameo very different from anything was the fact that he landed himself among the Westeros! He gave us all, the fans of GoT and Sheerios, a song to go by, a song to remember his sweet and fun filled cameo by crooning to the words “For hands of gold are always cold/ But a woman’s hands are warm” and gracing our screens with his longer than imagined cameo alongside superfan Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), sharing some hearty moments of fun along with rabbit and blackberry wine.
This definitely calls for all of his fans to go crazy over it on the web and all kinds of social media but what was surprising and very sweet was to see our ‘Lannister soldier’ getting all hyper about his own cameo as well. Ed Sheeran went on a social media spree by posting series of pics from the set and his living room during the Sunday night’s airing.
When it’s your first cameo, it’s gotta be a big thing, so Sheeran shared a screen shot of his big moment captioned as, “throwback to the time I was a Lannister.”
Then came along the wide range of pics that were taken during on sets of the episode shooting, wherein we see our young soldier mugging with Williams and the episode director Jeremy Podeswa.
Not only that but this one particular comment on this pic became quite an apt caption on its own, “The club isn’t the best place to find a lover, so the forest is where I go 😉”
Then he shares the short video in which super-producer Benny Blanco watches the show and gives out his valuable descriptive review!
Definitely worth looking out for this three world review!
Well, it seems like not only were the fans crazy to see and enjoy the cameo but also our young Lannister soldier, Ed Sheeran himself was getting prepared to watch out his cameo!
