Sonam Kapoor’s name has become synonymous with Fashionista. While we all dream of being tagged as the next style icon on any social scene, look at this pretty, gorgeous actress who is totally carrying this tag with utmost glamor and responsibility.

She is that one lady whose red carpet appearances is something every fashion lover looks forward to. Well, with red carpet our little heart just heads to Cannes.

Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals as film fraternity members from all over the world attend this event. The red carpet appearances of the stars are always the talk of the town.

Sonam Kapoor has been fashion’s favorite child and Cannes is like her own place. Being the face of L’oreal, she started her journey with Cannes from the year 2011 and we must say, she has never let us down. So what goes behind these stunning red carpet looks?

Let’s just decode the Cannes looks of Sonam Kapoor


Look1: Sonam Kapoor’s The Jean Paul Gaultier gown was a grand one and it definitely made her look dream like. She had the princess bun hairstyle and the perfect girly touch to her appearance. The standout feature was her smokey eyes that made her look more mysterious.

Look2: The Monochrome polka dot saree was just another indo-western look which is so eye appealing. The right prints and the ethnic touch combination could never go wrong.

Look3: The white gown by The Row looked ravishing and royal. The side buns added a playful glow to the entire look. The emerald green danglers were the ‘wow’ factors that made the whole outfit even more awesome.

Look4: The sequined Cavalli dress is the next party outfit which Sonam Kapoor had already worn that time. We are absolute in love with the golden flowey dress.



Look 1: A bold printed monochrome Naeem Khan dress for day one, it was just one of those dresses which we would all want for ‘the’ date night.

Look2: A gothic look, Alexander McQueen on the red carpet that was very eye soothing as Sonam looked stunning in it.

Look3: A sweetheart neckline Dolce and Gabbana princess dress. We surely don’t have to say it but Sonam Kapoor looked like a princess in this one.


Look1: As Cannes Celebrated 100 years of Cinema, Sonam Kapoor chose the right outfit to represent her country on the red carpet. The Anamika Khanna golden embroidered saree with a long jacket paired with the nose ring was thoroughly beautiful! And bold. This look got her mixed reactions.

Look2: The Dolce and Gabbana floral printed dress with her hair on one side, letting it all loose was one of the casual girly appearances, she had made.

Look 3: A lace lehenga by Shehla Khan, one of her best friend. It was one of the most trendiest outfit back then and Sonam Kapoor did justice to the outfit.


Look1: Sonam looked stunning in an Elie Saab couture gown. She truly defined diva. Her hair and make up were perfect.

Look2: She also wore an Anamika Khanna saree with a caplet. This look was all about royalty meets ethnicity. With so much elegance, we can only say WOW!


Look1 and Look 2: Both her looks for the year 2015 was much below expectations than the earlier ones. The look 1 outfit: Ralph and Russo blue draped gown was too much eye hurting.

While the Look2 outfit a green feathered gown by Elie Saab was again just as plain and average. It looked very furry and loaded on Sonam Kapoor. Sonam made a bold fashion choice with this outfit but she was badly trolled on social media.


Look1: Sonam looked picture perfect in the blue Rimzim Dadu saree. The best thing about this outfit is that they are made up of molten wires.

Look2: The Ralph And Russo couture white dress looked ethereal. Sonam looked no less than a Queen in this gown. On one shoulder she had beautiful embroidered cape which was long floor length while the other shoulder had a cutout.

Look3: Sonam Kapoor chose Ralph and Russo again for her media interviews and this one surely looked drop dead gorgeous. With a deep plunged neckline, peplum waist and flared skirt, Sonam slayed in this one.

Look4: Sonam chose white again, with yet another Ralph and Russo couture. The white fitted gown accompanied by the long cape which had beautiful rose designs wreathed into them. The look was total class and eye appealing.

We are eagerly waiting for Sonam Kapoor’s 2017 appearance. Deepika Padukone has already stunned and won our hearts with her Marchesa gown on the red carpet, we can now just wait for Sonam’s And Aishwarya Rai’s turn.
