The Avengers movies have launched its’ stars into the stratosphere, and now with the upcoming Thor: Rangnarok, it seems that the franchise is only headed further, quite literally!
Thor: Rangnarok will see the characters of Thor, The Hulk and Doctor Strange entering the Guardians Of The Galaxy territory. This move is aimed to help viewers catch up with Avengers: Infinity War, which is in the offing in 2018.
Before Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel will release three Thor films and one more superhero offering. Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed the arrival of Thor, The Hulk and Doctor Strange into the Guardians Of The Galaxy territory. Chris Pratt’s Star Lord and the rest of the Avengers gang is also expected to join them.
“There are three scenes on Earth in Thor: Ragnarok,” Feige revealed during a Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 set visit.
“Everything else is Asgard, and not all of these worlds, but world that certainly, let’s put it this way, in Thor lingo, it’s beyond the nine realms. There are other planets that we spend a lot of time on in Thor: Ragnarok, that certainly people would say, ‘Oh, that’s sort of like the Guardians world’, but they’re just other areas of the Marvel cosmos universe,” he added.
In the context of Avengers: Infinity War, we believe the amalgamation of the Avengers and The Guardians Of The Galaxy makes perfect sense.
